Think about your "habit energy"

Eating plant-based whole foods involves making new food choices that may be challenging. Many of us have eaten a certain way for years, and have developed habits regarding what we eat at mealtime and what we snack on. To change, we’ll need to consciously observe our habits—we’ll have to pay attention to what Thich Nhat Hahn calls our “habit energy.” It’s helpful to think about how our habits developed, and to reinforce our good habits, and not act on habits that are harmful.
