It may seem as though it would be impossible to enjoy a diet without, or with limited, animal protein and products, but it’s not. It’s exciting and fun to learn to eat differently, to try new foods and new products, and to savor the freshness and goodness of plant-based whole foods, foods that are vital and alive. Over time our taste buds change, what we like and want to eat changes. We start to feel joyful when we sit down to a meal full of vibrant, colorful, fresh foods—foods that are good for us. Why and how we eat has changed, and we’ve changed—we’re thinner, healthier, and wiser.
