Sometimes we need help to look deeply at what’s driving our unhealthy behaviors. If we can’t create or sustain a positive change, it’s important to ask ourselves why. Some of my patients can’t move forward with changes until they get to the bottom of what’s holding them back. Why can’t we stay with something that’s in our best interest? Why do we continue to do something harmful to us? What’s the payoff of this unwanted behavior? It’s important to understand ourselves.
